Armani is breaking new ground and strengthening its social media presence with the launch of #ArmaniTweetTalks, a series of live Twitter-based discussions covering a sundry of fashion-related topics. Similar to open group discussions, the #ArmaniTweetTalks will “take the form of Q&A sessions” with handpicked fashion personalities serving as the panelists.
Dubbed by Armani as a “pioneering initiative,” the first discussion, “China, The New Fashion Superpower” will focus on the country’s growing fashion influence. Set to go live on June 1, Vogue China editor-in-chief Angelica Cheung, taste-maker Hung Huang, fashion critic Godfrey Deeny, YOOX Group founder and CEO Federico Marchetti, fashion blogger Susanna Lau, and photographer Tommy Ton were tapped as this topic’s panelists. Meanwhile, fashion author and editor Peter Howarth will act as moderator.
All volumes of the talks will be viewable on Armani.com/tweettalks where online audience can review the panelists’ profiles, the questions submitted by users from across the world, as well as the discussion summaries. Twitter users can submit their questions as early as now until the live discussion commence on Friday at 14:00 CET.
