Boy. by Band of Outsiders gets dreamy in Spring 2012 lookbook

With a concept this dreamy and quirky, Boy. by Band of Outsiders chose the perfect model in Michelle Williams to channel the free-spirited vibe of their spring collection. Loyal to its all-Polaroid lookbook tradition, designer Scott Sternberg features Williams spreading strangeness and charm at the Hollywood Forever cemetery in Los Angeles.

Garbed in the designer’s billowy floor-length dresses, cropped jackets and floral dresses, Williams looks for treasure, asks the Magic-8 Ball a question, goes through filing cabinets and lounges under a tree. She mischievously tries to dig up Hitchcock’s grave as well, complete with a stealthy black hooded coat.

Call it old-fashioned if you must, but we think it’s all sorts of whimsical. The concept is right up Williams’ alley, where she lends a comfortable awkwardness that is chic and effervescent.
