The Saatchi Gallery on Kings Road was perhaps the most happening venue in London last October 11, with Karl Lagerfeld putting out another soiree for the Chanel: The Little Black Jacket exhibit. The private viewing drew the some of the biggest persons in the fashion world such as cat ear-wearing Poppy Delevingne, and new Harper’s Bazaar Global Fashion Director Carine Roitfeld. The event also attracted other stylish celebrities from London, including Suki Waterhouse and Clara Paget.

The event, which celebrates the book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel‘s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld, also saw many of the stylish twosome’s hand-picked subjects. With the evening soiree centered on the luxury label’s classic black jacket, some attendees adhered to the night’s theme, arriving in their own black jacket. That included Eva Herzigova, Edie Campbell and Jasmine Guinness, to name a few.

Several style icons took another sartorial route. Caroline Sieber stunned in her metallic short suit, while Alice Dellal went for a pristine white look. Yasmine Le Bon was another attendee who was clearly not keen on blending with the black-wearing crowd, slipping into an ostentatious blue dress worn under a lavish fur coat.
