It’s pretty common for designers to attach their names to virtually every commodity that’s relevant to the lifestyles of today’s fashion-forward men and women. From duvets to paper bags, the smorgasbord of designer products available these days are unbelievably wide and varied. Take this set of temporary tattoos from Dior, which truthfully, doesn’t really sound too convincing of a luxury product to begin with since we’ve already seen such items far too many times already.
Well, that was we honestly thought before we learned that these tattoos are actually made of 24-carat gold. Designed by Dior jewelry designer Camille Micelli, the Dior Grand Bal Golden Tattoo set are far from the cheap versions you could snag at a drugstore for the tattoos are created to look like actual jewelry. As such, sticking this to your skin will be like wearing expensive cuffs, bracelets and rings.
Retailing for $120, this limited edition set will temporarily give women a free pass when it comes to glamorous accessorizing. With such ornate detailing, who needs to buy or loan expensive jewelry when you can apply these fake tattoos—and never worry about losing them?
