There’s always something about spring that makes us want to bask in a blooming garden of violets, gardenias and magnolias. A bouquet of handpicked tuberose and mandarin is just as inspiring a visual this coming spring. Such a feast for the senses, don’t you think?
But women need not imagine for under the creative direction of Frida Giannino, the luxury fashion house of Gucci is packing the lovely scents and colors of spring in one blooming collection.
The Flora by Gucci Garden collection is inspired by the five essential flowers seen in the scarf designed by Vittorio Accornero specifically for Princess Grace of Monaco in 1966. Setting itself apart from the Flora by Gucci fragrance launched in 2009, Flora Garden seeks to embody and celebrate the personalities and emotions of every woman in five distinct scents.
The five scents are named Gorgeous Gardenia, Gracious Tuberose, Glamorous Magnolia, Generous Violet and Glorious Mandarin. Visually, the collection is also reminiscent of the soft hues of the season. The transparent glass bottle is inspired by the stem of a flower, while the fragrance itself comes in pale hues of pink, green, yellow, violet and blue.
Complementing the inspiring new line is an ethereal ad campaign shot by Solve Sundsbø featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw, who was also the face of the Flora by Gucci fragrance in 2009.
The collection will be available in the UK on March and April 8 in the US, in time for all the loveliness that comes with Springtime.
