A brand reserved for women living with life’s superlatives, Hermès unravels an exquisite new bag that captures the very meaning of high-end luxury with its $2 million price tag. Designed by the fashion house’s very own Pierre Hardy, the re-imagined Kelly bag is crafted using gold, precious stones and over 11,000 diamonds.
The limited edition handbag comes in four different versions. If the rose gold handle, gold crocodile scales and gold chain are not enough to highlight the bag’s extravagance, Hermès will only create three pieces per design.
Although CEO Patrick Thomas reveals in a Financial Times article that he is at a loss as to who he thinks would buy these handbags, Fashion Glamour thinks otherwise. In fact, we are expecting this extravagant piece to find its way into someone’s fine vanity since this is not the first time such a lavish designer bag was made available for high-life consumption.
