From its usual 12 issues per year circulation, Harper’s Bazaar has decided to slash it to 10, combining its December and January, and June and July issues. Perhaps in an effort to make up for this, the magazine tapped one of the world’s most prominent supermodels, Kate Moss, to cover its June/July issue. With matching scarlet nails and lips, Moss brought her famous wide-eyed look to the gorgeous Jamaican shore, in a shoot directed by Terry Richardson.
Inside, it’s a delightful collection of glorious summer-inspired images that features Moss in extravagant ensembles from Alexander McQueen and Gucci, to name a few. Amid a picturesque backdrop of white sand, azure waters, and magnificent rock formations, Moss truly rewarded Harper’s Bazaar readers with two months’ worth of satisfying fashion spreads.
The fact that Kate Moss is already 38, an age that is beyond old in the modeling world, still leaves us amazed at her ungodly beauty and appeal. The world’s fascination with her enduring allure has not changed the slightest bit since her career kicked off at 16. She may have fumbled a bit with scandalous drug allegations, but Moss has already redeemed herself with continued success in modeling—even now that she’s two years shy of turning 40.
The June/July issue will officially hit newsstands on May 29, but you can also view the spreads through the slideshow above or at the Harper’s Bazaar website.
