Dancer Dominique Provost-Chalkley was a fashion-forward attendee at the premiere of The Seasoning House in London on August 23. The Bristol-born dancer, who plays Vanya in the movie, wore a chic dark gray dress that was both simple and startlingly modern. Although the upper part of her dress was every bit plain and common, its uneven hemline was it saving grace.
An architectural spin on the high-low skirt trend that dominated spring and summer, Provost-Chalkley’s edgy choice was both a mini and a floor-length dress rolled into one. The dancer accessorized with black, slipping into a chunky pair of heels and leather wristlet. All smiles on the red carpet, the actress was clearly comfortable in her effortlessly chic ensemble. Even her wispy updo mimicked her look’s bold-yet-subdued appeal.
