Supermodel Karolina Kurkova caused one fabulous fashion riot in Berlin, Germany when she attended the Prix Montblanc 2012 event held at the Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt. The leggy Czech model wowed in a nude and breezy gown straight from Carlos Miele’s Spring 2013 lineup, proving that some ladies have all the luck when it comes to nabbing the latest dresses. Although the look we saw on the Carlos Miele runway arrived in a deep bronze shade, Kurkova’s lighter frock still stuns from the neck to the hemline.
Boasting of a more subdued spin on the still-prevailing cutout trend, the designer incorporated a peek-a-boo cutout at the middle of the chest—without creating a hint or speck of vulgarity. Even better was the playful collision between the shine of the satin bodice and the lusterless chiffon skirt, as it accentuated her slender waist. While many fashion critics think the look washed out the model’s beauty, we think she actually looks fantastically on point in keeping up with fall’s moody romanticism. Clearly, she’s loving her dress too since she’s photographed twirling the gown’s gusty chiffon skirt.
