Luxury watches take on spring’s colors

This season, keeping track of time while staying in fashion took on a more extravagant approach. With color being the name of the spring and summer months, fashion’s most luxurious labels re-imagined the season’s brights to create a refreshing yet upscale palette of timepieces. We looked into Burberry, Versace and Dior’s treasure trove of watches and found these opulent pieces perfectly recreating the vibrant colors of the season.

Precious stones come together in these Versace watches. Adorned with 70 yellow and blue sapphires, and amethysts, each watch is designed with a genuine lizard strap in the same color as the precious stones. The blue and yellow timepieces feature a yellow gold case, while stainless steel is fitted on the violet-strapped watch.

Versace manages to keep the class and sophistication without lagging behind in innovative shapes and styles. The unorganized stones filling up a portion of the space offer a sense of rugged delicateness—a chic departure from the usual shapes of today’s watches.

From the La D de Dior collection stood out these four limited edition watches—only 10 pieces are available—boasting of unique graphic backgrounds. Each watch has diamonds, an Australian white opal dial, sapphire crystal glass and a black satin strap. Some of the watches come with a yellow, white or pink gold case.

With the boldness of the watch face, we adore the show of restraint by employing black satin as straps. A watch which transcends all notions of femininity, we’d gladly wear any piece from this exceptional collection.

Simplicity can also go a long way, with these Burberry leather strap watches. These two however, are anything but boring.  The military red and blue accents on the straps manage to complement the sophistication of the yellow gold-plated case. Although Burberry strips these watches of precious stones, we love the urban luxury these pieces exude.
