MAC is one of the largest beauty brands in the world, which also means it has some of the largest number of loyalists. Although they have a wide spectrum of options for loyalists and newbies, most beauty junkies are particularly fascinated with MAC for their always exciting, often controversial themed collections and collaborations. From lipsticks to eyeshadow palettes, the creativity never ends at MAC—but the availability does. For most of these collaborative lines are on a limited edition release, women often find it hard to fall so perfectly captivated by one product only to never find it again in MAC counters.
MAC is responding to a small chunk of this beauty dilemma, as they announce a bigger collection of permanent nail lacquers. The expanded lineup consists of 30 eye-catching shades, including old favorites, re-releases and sensational new colors. MAC will be offering sheer, frosted and cream finishes as well. This bigger nail lacquer collection will descend at Nordstrom and MAC counters on July 5, while the rest of the world will have to wait until August 2 to get their hands on these. Each bottle will retail for $16. Some of the shades included in the lineup are Vintage Vamp, Deep Sea, Girl About Town, Dark Angel, Saint Germain, Nightfall, Impassioned, Rougemarie and Overlacquer.
With this news, MAC fans will still have a lot to look forward to as the brand will continue to churn out delectable limited edition collections and special collaborations, which we then hope will eventually find its way into the permanent MAC shelves.
