Were you even surprised? With the numerous times we’ve seen Madonna strip down – from photo shoots to her concerts – seeing her in her skivvies isn’t that big of a deal anymore. Nevertheless, her provocativeness and boldness is every bit commendable given her age. Such is why we were unsurprised yet still awed when we saw the Truth or Dare Naked ad today.
The black-and-white photo showed the Queen of Pop working it like the total pro that she is and channeled the infamous pose she did for her Sex coffee table book. She’s not wearing a necklace to cover up her assets, leaving the censorship to a graphically placed rectangular block that read “NAKED a new fragrance.”
Besides her covered bosom and enviable curls, it was her toned abs that really got our attention. It’s quite amazing to know that despite being 54, Madonna still has the body to pull off risky campaigns. The fragrance commercial may have been too racy for some networks to air, but we think the print ad has better odds of getting maximum exposure. How do you like Madonna’s topless ad campaign?
