(L-R) Etro, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci

Designers at Milan Fashion Week got color-happy, unleashing a lineup of accessories that took us on a rollercoaster ride through next season’s exciting color palette. From rings and cuffs to necklaces and belts, everything was either lightly speckled or lavishly bathed in dazzling spring shades. It was the colorful chunky earrings spotted at Etro, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci however, that really spoke to the color-loving Fashion Glamour team.

At Etro, oversized chandelier earrings practically overshadowed the beauty looks. It arrived in what appears to be resin, but splashed with vibrant colors that played up spring’s animated aesthetics. The same was true at Gucci, albeit offering more elegance and finesse as they dressed up their drop earrings with opulent jewels.

Dolce & Gabbana may have sent out several figure head earrings that question their cultural sensibility—and sensitivity—but we can’t bat an eye at the excessively attractive ones that would frighten Etro and Gucci’s designs. While the two offered styles that are well within many women’s accessorizing comfort zone, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana just went for downright outrageousness. The design duo bunched up tassels and stones to create gargantuan-sized earrings that look ready to rip off a woman’s ear lobes anytime. Of these three variations of spring’s colorful statement earrings, which one are you most eager to wear next spring?
