We may be at the tail end of spring, but Moschino has just unleashed a new fragrance seemingly inspired by the blooms of the season. Decidedly girly and dainty, the label’s latest fragrance called Pink Bouquet traversed the one-way road towards utter femininity with its fruity and floral concoction.
Perhaps an homage to the color that incontestably unites women around the world, young women will be instantly delighted by the irresistible blend of bergamot, pineapple sorbet and raspberry on top. Meanwhile, jasmine, pink lily of the valley, violet and peony petals lay at the heart of Pink Bouquet, while an exciting combination of peach, musk and gingerbread await at the base of the new fragrance.
Giovanni Sgariboldi got it right when he told Women’s Wear Daily that the new fragrance is “for all women who think, love, and live ‘in pink’” for even the bottle carried a look that truly echoed the fragrance’s personality. The heart-shaped flacon is packaged in a pink box complete with rhinestones. Moschino creative director Rossella Jardini adds how the new fragrance is truly reminiscent of the brand’s fresh, elegant and classic aesthetics.
Pink Bouquet’s campaign featured the girl-next-door beauty of model Kendra Spears who according to Jardini shares certain similarities with the fragrance, which include being “bubbly but sweet and romantic at the same time.”
Pink Bouquet will debut in Europe this June, while other regions—including the US—will have to wait for 2013 to come around before they could experience the exciting new fragrance from Moschino. The perfume will arrive in 30, 50 and 100mL, which will respectively retail for $41, $56 and $76. The new range will be accompanied by a deodorant spray, bath gel and body lotion.
