Summer has just begun but labels are already making waves for the fall season, as campaign images roll out left and right. Luxury English brand Mulberry is one of the few campaigns we’ve taken an immense liking so far. Taking cue from Where the Wild Things Are, Lindsey Wixson returned to front the enchanting new campaign, which was “inspired by mysterious expeditions, explorers and dark fairytales,” said the company.
Garbed in pieces from the label’s fall collection, the imagined world Mulberry created for this Tim Walker-photographed shoot is truly mesmerizing. Here, we see the Mulberry Girl getting lost in the forest and meeting two “furry, fantastical creatures” who then adorably pose in the background. “Ever since I was a little boy, I hoped to see a monster in the woods. Now, we all get to,” said Walker to Women’s Wear Daily.
Shot in Blackheath Forest in Surrey, England, the ads will debut in The New York Times on June 24. American and British Vogue, on the other hand, will carry the campaign images in their August issues.
