A Beckham child is slowly slithering into the glitz and glamour of modeling. David and Victoria‘s second eldest son Romeo set aside his football uniforms for a dapper trench coat in one of Burberry’s spring/summer 2013 ad images. Shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, the photo sees the young Beckham modeling in front of a vivid red background.
Though he doesn’t have any modeling experience, Romeo worked it like a pro for Testino as he posed with his left leg up while he clutched a printed umbrella. If his toothy smile is to be believed, Romeo looked like he had a great time on the set. Together with Romeo were models Edie Campbell and Charlie France, who both wore the British label’s iconic trench coat as well.
The full-length video of the campaign, which can be seen at Burberry’s YouTube channel, also tapped Cara Delevingne, Charlotte Wiggins, Alex Dunstan and Max Rendell. Could this be the beginning of 10-year-old Romeo’s modeling career? With reports saying that he loves fashion–taking after his mom, we presume—who’s to say he can’t play football and model at the same time?
