Street Style: Winter Dressing Inspirations from New York Fashion Week
Posted by on December 20, 2012 | 8:33 pm EST

Although it’s been 10 months since that fashion season, we at Fashion Glamour reckon that now’s the perfect time to take style inspirations from the fashionable attendees who trooped to the Fall/Winter 2012 New York Fashion Week show. Coats arrived in a variety of styles – plaid, cotton, fur, and leather – and sizes, which were the highlight of the season’s presentations.

Dark colors such as grey, brown, navy blue, and classic black dominated the scenes as fashion bloggers, editors and buyers opted to dress according to the season’s gloomy weather. On the other hand, there were also shades like royal blue, mint and neon greens, and striking pinks that brightened up the streets despite the freezing temperatures. Besides the outstanding colors, the fashion getups were applause-worthy for some of them didn’t hesitate to bring roomy pieces together like a poncho and the vintage flared pants.

Of course, the power of floral prints wasn’t left behind for several fashion week-goers brought their spring fascination into action. In terms of footwear choices, many opted for the usual boots and booties while others didn’t mind the chilly air and wore elegant pumps.

With these impressive mixing and matching of different fashion pieces, no one can deny the fact that no matter how cold the weather gets, lovers of fashion will always find every event an opportunity to show their style.
