Although Superbad was the first movie role Emma Stone earned, it wasn’t until she played the character of Olive in Easy A that she marked her spot on Hollywood’s exclusive and elusive map. Considered by many as her true breakout role, it was there that Stone truly showed off her irresistible onscreen charisma and wit.

Since then, Stone did not look back as she furthered her career with diverse film choices that established her as one of the industry’s most promising young stars. From favored funny girl to full-fledged movie star, Stone was able to carve her own space in the  tough industry with a bagful of personality and charm.

Besides her effervescent acting talent, Stone’s preppy, feminine and casual sense of style captured the spotlight. Always almost seen in mini dresses at various red carpet events, she was soon noticed for her budding sartorial flair, landing herself in many best-dressed lists. Although Stone admits that her status as a style icon is owed largely to her stylist Petra Flannery’s choices, one can’t deny that fashion loves her.

Along with her burgeoning career, she soon explored the wonders of fashion in daring designer dresses, showing off her flawless style. Since then, the sometimes blonde, often redhead star has become one of today’s most watched Hollywood darlings, not just because of her iridescent persona but also for her flawless fashion style on the red carpet.

Fashion Glamour tracked the 23-year-old’s style evolution, highlighting the most memorable looks we’ve seen from her—so far. Click through the slideshow above to see the now-Vogue cover girl’s fashion adventures through the years in pictures.
