Robert Procop, though not new in the jewelry industry, is perhaps gaining more recognition today for being the man Brad Pitt collaborated with to create Angelina Jolie’s now infamous engagement ring. Besides this recent endeavor, Procop has also partnered with Jolie last year to churn out the Style of Jolie collection. The line may have already made waves since 2010, but Procop is giving jewelry aficionados a chance to sneak a peek at Jolie’s exceptional jewelry design talent as well.
This summer, Procop will descend in France to showcase the Style of Jolie line as well as his own Exceptional Jewels collection for two pop-up displays. Running from July 15 through August 15, the events will be simultaneously staged at the Grand Hotel in Cap Ferrat and at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. Jolie is expected to visit the showcase with Pitt during the summer, adding glitz and glamour to the exhibit. Referring to the location of the showcases, Procop said that “it’s the one place where everyone loves to spend their summer.”
More than a reflection of Jolie’s old school elegance, the collection is also an extension of Jolie’s charitable heart with all proceeds from the Style of Jolie collection benefiting her foundation, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. In fact, pieces that have been sold since the line’s debut in 2010 have reportedly helped build a school in Afghanistan.
The Style of Jolie collection has been sold by private appointments only, but Procop is looking to expand the line’s reach by making it available at select boutiques in Russia, China, the US and Turkey by September.
