From Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated movie The Dark Knight Rises to the yet-again-another installment of the Step Up franchise, fashion media outlets had a field day capturing all the looks from these red carpet premieres. The week that was saw movie star Marion Cotillard capturing the most attention as she slipped into the first Dior Couture ensemble to appear on the red carpet. Not to be outdone however, was 2012’s Catwoman Anne Hathaway, who showed her sartorial independence in Prabal Gurung and Gucci. Although the movie promises a dark and moody ambiance, the two women opted for frothy and ethereal frocks.
Hailee Steinfeld and Peaches Geldof may have only walked the red carpet to show their support, but they wasted no time in bannering their style finesse. Esmee Denters was another standout on The Dark Knight Rises red carpet, arriving in an edgy-yet-casual ensemble that nearly rivaled the night’s floaty gowns.
On the lesser-flocked Step Up Revolution red carpet, Ashley Tisdale and Alyson Stoner wowed in simple, age-appropriate frocks. Other stylish stars to catch the Fashion Glamour style radar include Annie Ilonzeh who attended the HollyRod Foundation’s 14th Annual Design Care Benefit in a tasteful orange mini. Meanwhile, Zoe Kazan stunned in a black-and-white frock at the Ruby Sparks premiere in Los Angeles. Dressed in a polished and pleated maroon dress, Kelly Brook piloted the launch of Magnum in London on July 19.
