Movie premieres were the foremost sources of sartorial highlights the past week, with stars descending on many glitzy red carpets to see Total Recall, ParaNorman, The Bourne Legacy and The Campaign on the big screen. From New York to Los Angeles, Fashion Glamour rounded up the most notable women in Hollywood that wowed in dainty dresses, summer casuals and ubiquitous LBDs.
At the New York premiere of Total Recall, Jessica Biel redeemed her fashion failure in Dior Couture and returned to her staple—a white dress. She stepped out in a romantic lace frock with a matching shawl that pushed it towards bridal territory. Sami Gayle and Chanel Farrell were also in attendance, bringing a bit of color and attitude on the red carpet. Gayle channeled her 16-year-old self in a Miu Miu ensemble, while Farrell looked flirty in a blue eyelet dress. Meanwhile in the Los Angeles premiere of Total Recall, Sophia Bush bannered utmost sophistication in a classy tuxedo-inspired ensemble.
The premiere of The Campaign also boasted of glorious red carpet looks. Lizzy Caplan wore a midriff-baring white tank top and paired it with a pleated yellow skirt. A pair of ankle-wrap wedges completed her summery ensemble. Kate Lang Johnson was statuesque and flawless in a fashion-forward white mini. One arm was sleeveless, while the other sleeved, it was a surprising visual that was a real knockout.
Anna Kendrick and Leslie Mann were downright refreshing at the ParaNorman premiere, looking perfectly pretty in their girly dresses. Kendrick’s lovely pink dress had an alluring shimmer, while Mann’s was zesty in an orange shade. At the season 2 premiere of AMC’s Hell on Wheels, Dominique McElligott wowed us in a simple but stunning red off-the-shoulder dress. The Bourne Legacy premiere early in the week was all about Rachel Weisz, who stepped out in a classy Dior Couture dress.
Although film and television premieres hogged the entire spotlight, the 10th Annual Hoodie Awards in Las Vegas was also bursting with fashion success. It was Selita Ebanks however, who floored us in a black peplum dress from Stella McCartney.
