TV Fashion: April Ludgate is not your average government worker

April Ludgate, the aloof, deadpanning yet charming character played by Aubrey Plaza, may be in small town Pawnee, but her outfits are something we always look forward to each episode. From retail favorites, like J.Crew, to designer numbers, like Dolce and Gabanna, April’s wardrobe pieces are totally coveted. Here are some of the best we’ve seen so far:

The white tulip print Equipment shirt worn by April on the episode “Animal Control” lent a gentler vibe to her aggressive personality.  Worn under a sweater or by its own, the sleeveless shirt gives off a vintage vibe that is so spot on these days. If you want the exact same dress, you could get it at Bloomingdale’s.

When April went to London to attend a formal event, she wore this Dolce and Gabanna dot sleeveless shift dress. Of course, that only made it much more difficult for Andy to stay behind in the British capital.

That Tabby sweater from J.Crew she wore in the “Bailout” episode is proof that even our favorite antisocial can’t resist cute animals.

And when Ben and Leslie got married, April went understated chic with an Alice & Olivia puffskirt minidress. She held her own while giving the bride the spotlight.
