Fashion lovers in Denver will be treated to an exclusive high-fashion showcase of Parisian designer Yves Saint Laurent’s stunning creations for the past 40 years at the Denver Art Museum on March 25 through July 8. The exhibit, titled Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective, will feature 200 haute couture pieces, as well as photographs, drawing and films that detail the progression of the designer’s style and aesthetics. The exhibit will cover the entirety of Saint Laurent’s career, including his days at Dior.
A members-only preview and lecture with the exhibit’s chief curator and fashion historian Florence Müller will be held a day before the opening on March 25. Other planned events in line with the exhibit include interior design consultations and haute couture skills workshop among others.
Tickets for Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective are specially timed, with entry limited to every half hour. A free audio guide is also included in the ticket.
