American fashion designer Zac Posen is on his way to building his empire—and he’s starting with eyewear. Noted for his red carpet-ready style and signature mermaid gowns, the designer will bring his design skills to a whole new territory as he teamed up with Illesteva for his first eyewear collection.

According to a WWD article, the lineup will include two shapes—the cat-eye and oval frames. These will arrive in yellow, clear and tortoise, green, brown and a leopard print. Each design will be available for a limited amount of time, adding to the excitement to Posen’s latest endeavor.

Retailing for $300, the collection will soon hit Colette, Opening Ceremony and Illesteva websites in April. This is also the first collaboration for Illesteva, an eyewear brand founded only in 2009.
